• Joe Bennett - Bath Spa University

Bath Spa University (CETL) has chosen to install 3x 16 channel VTC consoles in its new studio suite to accompany their Pro Tools HD systems. Joe Bennett of Bath Spa commented 'We chose the VTC's for the traditional layout and simplicity in using them to interface with our Pro Tools Systems - they are great for the students to learn and be creative on.' The in-line design of the VTC and logical routing does make it an ideal learning tool, but as Joe also points out there other factors which make the VTC first choice 'The quality of preamps on the VTC really attracted us. We needed the highest quality front end and wanted to keep the signal path as simple as possible with only one A/D stage. The VTC allows us to do that and it gives us that high quality valve sound.'
The VTC desks are sure to aid the many current and future students who attend the well respected and accredited music courses provided at Bath Spa. The desks are also being installed in time for the renound UK songwriting Festival which takes place annually at the university.
