Point Blank London are a music college that provide courses in a wide range of subjects from Music Production to DJ skills. In an age where courses of this nature are becoming more and more popular and widespread in their delivery, it is extremely admirable how successful Point Blank have become.

Jules, Manager of Point Blank, informed us "We have been successful because of the quality of people who teach here - they are all industry professionals with proven track records". Indeed, tutors at the college have had widespread mainstream success, either with their own material - or with working with many respected acts including Massive Attack, Blur, and Lemar.

The studios at Point Blank are both cleverly laid out and well equipped, and cater for both recording and production of many different music genres - from drum & bass and hip hop to rock and reggae.

The VTC 24 desk has been installed in the Mac suite, which includes 12 Apple Powermac G5 workstations, and a Motu 192 HD system. Jules states "The combination of analogue and digital was an ethos we wanted to follow... we have used digital desks in the other studios but we wanted a warm sounding desk with great EQ... the tubes in the VTC really do that... the desk sounds great!"

When asked the best thing about the TL Audio VTC desk, Jules replied "Definitely the warmth! The warmth and clarity it puts into our recordings"
